Wine
If you prefer wine, have no fear, there are some great options for you! Start in downtown New Glarus and check out Hawk's Mill Winery. Bailey's Run, located one mile outside of New Glarus provides incredible views of the valley. Check out their incredible tasting room.
Fisher King Winery, located in Verona, is a nice place to try a few different wines, made on the premises. Or, make the short drive to Prairie du Sac and you can tour the Wollersheim Winery and Distillery.

Cheese
Green County is known for cheese. It is the home to many award winning cheeses. Many locals visit the cheese factories to buy direct from the factory. Why not try it out? If you aren't sure what you want, visit one of the local shops or restaurants in New Glarus to sample the wonderful fare. Visit Edelweiss Cheese Shop or Maple Leaf Cheese and Chocolate Haus, both are located in downtown New Glarus. Or, take a drive and check out all of the local factories here.
